Gusto Farm to Street, a Maryland based, multi-unit fast casual restaurant specializing in healthy, customizable farm fresh salads and fast fired pizzas has announced the addition of three new locations in Virginia and North Carolina.

Joshua Grim, founder and CEO of Gusto Farm to Street, is proud to announce the planned opening of three new locations. Grim explained, “We are very excited to bring our award-winning salads and pizzas to both Virginia and North Carolina. It’s been amazing to watch this idea grow from just one small location in downtown Bethesda, MD to, soon to be, fifteen locations across multiple states. It’s our mission to bring quick, healthy and craveable options that are flavorful and affordable to a street near you.”

Gusto’s fourth location will be coming to the SouthPark Mall in Charlotte, NC, opening in May of 2018. Located in the newly remodeled food court between Chick-Fil-A and Chipotle, this will be Gusto’s second mall location, joining the recently opened Westfield Montgomery Mall restaurant in North Bethesda, MD. Charlotte’s emerging food landscape is the perfect home for Gusto’s first North Carolina location. Stephen Smittle, Gusto’s COO says, “Charlotte residents have sophisticated tastes and our healthy, yet bold combinations can satisfy those desires.”

In early June, Gusto will open in the Holly Park Shopping Center, in the former Jersey Mike’s space, located on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh, NC. Grim mentioned that with the success of nearby Trader Joe’s, it is clear how important a healthy lifestyle is to Raleigh. “This was one of the bigger driving factors when deciding on the Holly Park location. We will fill the void of a healthy, fast restaurant by offering one of a kind chef-created and customizable salads and pizzas.”

The sixth Gusto location will be in Chantilly, VA. This restaurant is headed for the new Wegman’s shopping center off Rt. 28 and Westfields Blvd, named The Field at Commonwealth. This will be Gusto’s first Northern Virginia location, and is scheduled to open late summer of 2018. The Field at Commonwealth is slated to be the “heart of Chantilly, and Gusto will be integral in providing the residents of Chantilly a fun, fast, and healthy restaurant to dine in,” states Grim. In addition, Gusto will elevate catering offerings for the area. Nichole Latiolais, Gusto’s Director of Marketing states, “Businesses are looking for flavorful and healthy options to feed their employees and guests. Gusto’s new catering menu has options for everyone, including gluten free, vegetarian, and now vegan options.” Some of these businesses include Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Booz Allen Hamilton which surround The Field at Commonwealth.

An additional new location is still in the works to round out 2018. Grim says that along with these four new locations, “the company plans to open eight additional locations by the end of 2019, adding a multitude of job opportunities to these communities.”
